Healing from the Past (Trauma and C-PTSD)

  • Insight is about understanding the “why”- why you keep repeating the same relationship patterns, why difficult emotions get stuck, why change feels so hard. Understanding yourself creates self-awareness that opens the door to stop repeating the past and start actively choosing a different future.

  • Trauma is both triggered and healed through connection with others. We will work on processing your past and present relationships, creating new opportunities for growth and secure connection.

  • ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) are highly effective treatment modalities target trauma symptoms quickly, with improvement in as few as two to eight sessions.

    I currently offer ART and will be expanding my practice to include EMDR starting April, 2026

Anxiety and Emotion Regulation

  • I will help you build an understanding of the thinking and behavioral patterns that keep you stuck in anxiety so that you can create practical, meaningful change in your everyday life.

  • We will create a personalized plan to help you find and implement the strategies that will help regulate your nervous system, calm your thinking, and decrease overwhelm.

  • Work with teens always begins with establishing a solid foundation of trust and communication. From there, I combine CBT and talk therapy designed to help adolescents learn to better regulate their emotions and access healthy, supportive relationships. By leveraging the skills and strengths of this exciting developmental stage, I am able to help teens build self-confidence that they can navigate their expanding world without being slowed down by anxiety or held back by overwhelming emotions. If desired, I also support parents and teens with problem solving communication gaps that create conflict at home.

Functional Well-being

  • Many of my clients are highly successful in the world, with a heavy cost to their mental health. Their drive and care for others come with perfectionism, stress, and people pleasing. It doesn’t have to be this way. I help people find balance, allowing them to incorporate self-care while continuing to show up fully, both professionally and personally.

  • By understanding your attachment style, growing effective communication, and strengthening boundaries, you can build healthier relationships and find deeper happiness. Whether it’s recovering from a breakup, healing from narcissistic abuse, or overcoming social anxiety, I am here to help you process and grow towards secure relationships.

  • Often the impact of a major life stressor lets people know it’s time to look for a therapist. Ending a relationship or experiencing a loss are things we can process together. Even sought after changes- going to college, getting married, starting a new job- can test coping strategies and lead to feeling overwhelmed. My integrative approach allows me to offer strategies for short term regulation and long-term growth. With the right support, the most challenging moments in life can be an invitation for self-development.
